Carly is a graduate of Brown University, and studied classical voice under the tutelage of Natalya Bodanya at the Manhattan School of Music and monologue/scene study with the New England Actors Theater. Musical theater credits include the national tour of "Victor Victoria" and "Magdalena" at Lincoln Center. Regional credits include the role of Sally in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", Pitti-Sing in "Mikado", and Gussie in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival production of "Merrily We Roll
Along". Carly is the winner of the U.S. Performing Arts Award for Musical Theater, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra Soloist Competition, and the Award for Artistic Excellence given by the Hartford Musical Club. She has also done commercial television work for Subaru. Most recently, Carly starred in “Evita” as Eva Peron with Madison Lyric Stage. Other past productions with MLS include “A Little Night Music” (Desiree), “Weimar Republic Masterpieces”, “Macbeth”, and “The Phantom of the Barn – A Revue of the Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber”. Last summer, she also played the role of Sally in the Opera Theater of Connecticut production of “Die Fledermaus”.
Carly has an extensive background in the production and marketing aspects of the performing arts, and was a production associate with the original cast of "The Lion King" on Broadway. Other production credits include "20th Century R&B" at the Rainbow Room and the off Broadway show “Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know". In advertising, she has represented Broadway shows including "Into the Woods", Lily Tomlin's "Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe", "The Music Man", "42nd Street", and "Urinetown".
